GOD STILL SPEAKS in 2012

As we schedule and do the necessary things to begin ministry this year we continue to be challenged ourselves by the title song on our latest project, God Still Speaks.  God has burdened our hearts with this message, not only to share Jesus Christ with the unsaved, but to encourage our fellow believers.  God made us to need each other. We can spend time in church and in fellowship with each other but that is NOT enough.  We pray that God will help us to"listen" to His voice this year in the middle of all the craziness of life, and to follow His lead  - and to encourage you all to do the same.   Each one of us needs to personally take the time to "refuel" by spending time reading our Bibles and praying, building our own personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He gave His life for us - we owe Him ours.

Singing, singing, singing

It has been a busy summer of ministry but we are so excited to see and hear how God has used our ministry to touch hearts and lives in the US and abroad.  We give Him all the glory great things He has done.  We have a few weeks off for Bonnie's foot surgery then we will finish October and early November before we take our Christmas break.  We are looking forward to see what God has in store for us this fall, winter, and into the new year.

BAYSHORE WEEKEND

God uses us if we allow Him to.  We have to give up what we want and be totally open to the leading of His Holy Spirit.  This venue gives us the time and place to allow God to encourage and challenge people through us.  This weekend we had a great chance to fellowship with other gospel artists and to share through word and music what God has laid on our hearts.  But, some of the most special moments are those spent with folks out at our table. 

A special moment for me (Bonnie) was a great talk I had with Art Severance on Friday while setting up our table about what this weekend is really all about.  We so appreciate all of the work they put into making this weekend happen. 

One gentleman and his wife gave us a large wooden cross hand carved with our group's name "NOT ASHAMED" and verse  "ROMANS 1:16" on it.  How truly special to us that someone would care enough to take the time to do that! We will proudly display it everywhere we go.

We had many chances to listen to hurting hearts and pray with people.

I (Bonnie) got an amazing surprise when I got to see a very special friend.  I met Lorraine 3 years ago at this very weekend.  She was a very very new baby Christian, broken and hurt and discouraged.  God allowed me to not only meet her but to talk and pray and begin a relationship.  Then she "disappeared" until this last weekend.  Come to find out she now lives in Louisiana and drove 24 hours to be here this weekend.  WOW!  She has grown in the Lord and He has taken care of her and changed her life.  I am so grateful that He allowed me to be a very small part in encouraging her.

That is what this weekend is truly about!!!

HALLELUJAH!!!!!

Sunday night's concert was awesome.  Not us - but seeing God work through us to see two people accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior and many encouraged.  WOW!!  It is so neat that God allows us to be a part of HIS work!  Continue to pray for us!

NEW CD/ He Still Speaks

We pick up the master from the studio and then send it to be duplicated on Monday.  We are excited about the project and the message God has on our hearts to share.  We are praying that we will have the finished product available for Bayshore weekend.  See you all there! :)

This weekend we will be singing up at the Northern Bear Paw RV Park.  A 7pm Saturday concert and a worship service at 10am on Sunday.  We are looking forward to camping (YAY!!!) and ministering with some really neat people - sharing the gospel and encourageing those who are struggling.  God is good!
