I, Dave Pickering, grew up in Grand Blanc, MI. I am the youngest of five children born to wonderful, godly parents. I grew up having a great love for sports and especially played alot of baseball and football. I was introduced to music through several years of piano lessons and having a father who sang in the church choir for many years. It was a privilege to grow up in a Christian home with parents who loved the Lord and still continue to serve Him today. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior at the age of four through the influence of my parents faithful testimony and having a Child Evangelism Fellowship after school program held in our home. I was very involved in my church youth group during high school. They became my most valuable peer group. There I met a young lady named Jenny and we were married when I finished college. I attended Cedarville University, a christian college, where I majored in psychology. I continued my education and hold a Master's degree in counseling from Georgia State University. I currently am employed with Riversbend Rehabilitation in Bay City, MI and we live in Caro, MI. We are members of the First Baptist Church in Caro and are actively involved when we are not out singing. Jenny is a wonderful wife and mother. She is a medical assistant. Our daughter, Jessica, was born in 1987 and our son, DJ, was born in 1990. Jessica graduated from Saginaw Valley in 2011 with a degree in excercise science and works in cardiac rehab. DJ works fulltime with boys who are victims of abuse and neglect.
